I’m Adam Smith, a professional guitarist based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I’m happy to provide the perfect soundtrack for your next event. Wedding ceremonies, receptions, dinners, any kind of private events – I am here to give you the music that fits the bill.
About me
I moved to Jackson, Wyoming from Virginia in 2014 after graduating from college. A typical ski town story, my plan was to ski for a season and then start my “real” life. It didn’t take long to figure out that my real life belonged here, and I’ve been living, working, and playing music in our beautiful valley ever since.
I play lead guitar with well-known bands in the valley like Sghetti and Hot Pocket. We’ve played all sorts of events: weddings, parties, corporate events, concerts on top of Snow King, Fourth of July fireworks, and, of course, the apres-ski scene at JHMR.
Experience
10 + years playing music in Jackson Hole
I studied music in college, and have played lead guitar in a number of bands in the valley, including Sghetti, Hot pocket, and Rude Noodle. I play solo acoustic and electric guitar at private events, dinners and wedding ceremonies.
Versatility
Acoustic or electric guitar in a wide variety of styles
I can play anything from pop and rock to classical and Jazz. Whatever type of music fits your vibe stylistically, I can provide. Electric jazz guitar for a classy dinner, or acoustic for a more intimate scene. I take requests ahead of time, and also have a wide repertoire of my own.

Speakers, microphones, amplifiers – I am entirely self sufficient and provide all of the equipment needed to set up and play at your event. Simply tell me what kind of atmosphere and ambiance you’re looking for and we’ll make it happen.

I provide background for your reception, the soundtrack for your ceremony, or all of the above. With preparation ahead of time, I’ll play the songs that are special to you and your partner.

Need jazz music for a fancy dinner? Contemporary pop for something more casual? Whatever it may be, I can give you the right music for the circumstance.
